The vision of the department of Humanities & Basic Sciences reflects, supplements and complements the vision of the institution. We in the Humanities and basic Sciences also share the view that it is necessary to augment the skills of the rural and urban youth.
Mission:
To impart quality education and enhance the placement opportunities of our students to project themselves in the modern, highly competitive world and make them aware of the various issues concerning man and society. They are meant to sensitize students to the broader social, cultural, economic, ethical and humane issues involved in social change.
Samskruti College of Polytechnic is located in the city surrounding area and its objective is to cater to the needs of technical education of predominantly rural and urban youth.
In any Polytechnic college, the Department of Humanities and Basic sciences to the new entrants is what a cradle is to a new born baby in the sense that a majority of the classes attended by every student are handled by the Department of Humanities and Basic Sciences.
So, it is the responsibility of the Department of Humanities and science to acclimatize the students who pass the Secondary school education and enters into the portals of polytechnic college. It is its duty to help the students to adjust themselves to the ambience of a professional college by removing the feelings of shyness and fear from their minds and integrating them seamlessly into their new ambiance. This is the onus of the Department of Humanities and Basic sciences.
The Department of Humanities & Basic Sciences is multi disciplinary branch comprising English language, Engineering Chemistry, Engineering Physics and Mathematics. Improving basic communication skills and imparting the necessary soft skills along with imparting basic skills in subjects like Engineering Chemistry, Engineering Physics and mathematics for the Diploma students is the responsibility of the department of Humanities and sciences.
